Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test – the easiest test ever.

The new Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test offers women the benefits of one-step testing together with clear results on a digital display.  The fully integrated test has been developed to offer women a test they can perform with ease and a result they can have confidence in.

The test automatically calibrates itself when urine is applied to the Absorbent Sampler.  The user places the Absorbent Sampler in her urine stream for 5 seconds, and a flashing “Wait” symbol is shown on the display to demonstrate that the test is working correctly.  In 1 to 3 minutes the result appears on the digital display – “Pregnant” or “Not Pregnant” – and will continue to be displayed for approximately 24 hours.

The test works in the same way as other Clearblue Pregnancy Tests by detecting the presence of the hormone human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) in urine, which increases rapidly during the early stages of pregnancy.  Clearblue Pregnancy Test is now sensitive enough to allow women the choice of testing up to 4 days before their period is due.  Clear information on testing early is provided on the pack and in the instruction leaflet.

The Clearblue Pregnancy Test also continues to provide certainty, with results that are more than 99% accurate in detecting hCG in urine when used from the day the period is due.
